Shipping label printing guide

Print marketplace labels on a thermal printer

Switch LabelLime to a thermal profile and prepare labels as one label per page at the exact paper size your printer expects.

Choose the matching thermal profile

LabelLime includes 4 × 6, 4 × 2 and 2 × 1 inch profiles. Select the same paper size in your printer settings and print at 100% scale with margins and browser headers/footers disabled.

Fix labels that arrive as A4

If a marketplace gives you an A4 PDF containing a smaller shipping label, crop the unnecessary area, rotate if required and fit the label to the thermal page.

Batch several thermal labels

Import several PDFs or images at once. A thermal template uses one label per page, so additional labels become additional pages in the workspace.

Track individual thermal stock

Label stock can be tied to the template you are using. Confirm a successful print before LabelLime changes the remembered stock count.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Is 4×6 the same as 100×150 mm?

They are close but not identical. Use the size that matches the actual stock and printer configuration you have.

Should I scale the print dialog?

For a thermal profile, use the matching paper size and 100% scale so the page dimensions are not changed by the browser or printer driver.
